On this day in 1870, Seargeant Moore and Trooper Knox have been commissioned to escort a large shipment of gold from the Gympie Goldfields to Imbil.
As there has been recent bushranger activity in the area, we have reason to believe an attempted armed hold-up will take place.
Watch out for bushrangers along the way... especially at the stations.
However, a serious attempt will most likely take place when we reach Imbil.
We therefore ask you to alight from the train as quickly as possible and make your way to the 1870 area to the left of the station.
